It’s a very long time ago that I actually had to ask for any kit, PJ’s or whatever. As a rule the amenity bag is at my seat already, and no, I’m not Plat and have never been and fly J more than F.

Actually, about 3 years ago on an AMS/DXB daytime flight, the FA came to ask what size PJ’s I wanted (it was before pushback). I told her that I was quite happy without anything, but she insisted that I take the tote bag with amenity kit, PJ’s and everything. Turned out she was quite new in F and no-one would go without anything on her watch. Load was 2/14, so I didn’t lack anything.
