I've been trying Flighty this year and I have found it to be a great app to use in days before and on the day of travel. I don't know where they get their data, but it's reliable and available even before airline apps pick up - things like delays, gate assignment etc.

However my primary phone is an android and Flighty is and will remain iOS exclusive, so I had to leave it behind.

myFR24 is a great service to maintain history of flights.
