Called EXP line this evening. Quoted over 2hr wait time. Waited 1hr on hold, gave up, and then 3h48m for a call back. In the meantime, called UA twice and there was no wait for an agent either time.
Why is AA so consistently awful in being able to get in touch with them when one needs to the most (during IRROPS)? The EXP line has becoming meaningless over the years.

I was trying to reach EXP due to flight delay and I was quoted 2 hr wait as well. Is something going on at a major hub at the moment leading to this long wait?
