Because a 15% discount is not worth it if it means you are giving up on upgrade, breakfast and lounge access.

For the BT the price difference is indeed huge! But I am wondering if it's not a very exceptional price. On your screenshot, it's written "newbie offer". So maybe it's a special price because it's the first time you are using this service?
Sofitel Bangkok and Sofitel Kuala Lumpur are on the year round 3rd night free offer via certain booking platforms, that's roughly 33% off? So is Ctrip being the cheapest?
