I checked into a booking today from Ctrip to test it out, and yeah my benefits were respected. Received an upgrade, and lounge access (platinum) and the typical fruits.

I don’t have any Chinese cards myself, at least ones I use, so I book with a foreign credit card bound to Alipay, there is a 3% fee for doing so though with a few exceptions for some specific foreign banks like DBS (Singapore)

For the record I’m not Chinese but I have previously lived in China and had Chinese accounts and banks.

I do find this a little disheartening that the discounts here on Ctrip are even more than being an Accor Plus member.
