I got the card a few days ago. After selecting my merchants for the Splurge Credit, today I ordered a $200 Amazon GC from Best Buy. Almost immediately, the order was cancelled. This is very frustrating.
Both the purchase and the refund show as pending in my Citi account. How do I know whether this triggered the Splurge Credit? Am I understanding correctly that it doesn't post until the statement cuts (which in my case is Jan 12)? I don't know whether I still have it to use and need to try re-ordering or going in-store to buy a GC.
Would appreciate any advice.
Any chance you are abroad or were using a commercial VPN? Best Buy hates those from my experience.
