Anyone know how they plan to make the transition to AU access next year.

we have one account, with my wife the primary, and me the AU. My understanding is the AU card can remain free without lounge access, or you can pay the $125. We’ll not be doing the latter, as we generally travel with kids, so without guest access C1 lounges aren’t happening (maybe if we lived in DEN/DFW). And we already have alternate PP access.

is the $125 being charged by default, or will we get a notfication and able to choose to keep the free AU card (without C1/PP lounges), or pay the fee? Or do I have to call to specify?

On second thought, might just drop the AU card completely, as I can always add the primary card to Apple Pay on both of our devices to have access to card use without having to deal with the hassle of a second card on the same account?
