I fly out of LAX 3-4 times a month. My approach is the same as many have said above:

1. If taking Uber Black/Lyft Black they’ll drop you right off at the outer curb in front of Delta One. You’ll sometimes also see a Delta bellhop cart to help with luggage there.

2. If taking an UberX I get it all the way to the end of T3 and take the escalator/elevator down.
