First Class lounge had a Christmas menu in collaboration with Mandarin Oriental today:




Hokkaido Scallops 8/10

Pumpkin Soup 7/10

Beef Short Ribs, 9/10, definitely the star of the menu. It looks chewy on the pic but it was really tender and full of taste.

Black Forest Cake 8/10

Not a bad mini-dinner at all, but MH's First Class lounge lacks the sophistication of some other First Class lounges in the region. In any case, the food offerings blow pretty much everything MH is serving on its planes out of the water, so I opted to have this dinner fully expecting that the food on KUL AKL would not be much to talk about. (And indeed it wasn't.)
