Staying 2 weeks at a time, with months between visits, is not at all the activity that they are supposedly targeting.
There are lots of opinions being expressed based primarily on supposition. Then you have the reddit thread where someone posts every day about how they just cleared Thai immigration with no problem so there obviously is not any issue here ;-)
I'll be making entry #3 this year on tourist exemption on Saturday. Stays 1 and 2 were about a week each. Not expecting any issues but guess we'll see . . . .
