I was in YYZ MLL last evening. I don't have high expectations for the food but last night was an all time low for me. The roast turkey, while moist, was totally flavorless including the "gravy". Brussels sprouts were soggy. And the potatoes - I don't know how to describe them. As Mrs W said: "How could someone think these are ok?". I should have gone with my first instinct and stopped at the cafe.
It's sad that we've just come to accept this as normal. I also can't believe that they can screw up potatoes of all things, like how is that even possible with one of the most resilient foods know to man!!
The next time I encounter this I think I'll ask to speak to the person in charge of the MLL just so, for my savage amusement, I can listen to them try to defend their pathetic effort and justify what they are offering as being acceptable.
