November 2025

6 rows of Club Europe on that morning's A320 to Spain's second city. Jackets weren't proactively taken, so I left mine under the middle seat console table, which didn't get spotted by the crew.

Drinks and lunch trays were hand run from the galley, with packaged nuts offered to those passengers not eating the full meal.

For those eating, it was a choice of traditional lamb shepherd's pie, paccheri Sorrentino, or smoked salmon tartare - I went with the shepherd's pie. This was accompanied by a green bean salad starter, and spiced apple with vanilla marscapone dessert. All perfectly fine, but the main course was certainly more on the microwave meal end of the spectrum than some CE main courses of late.

Drinks top-ups were offered proactively throughout the remainder of the flight.

November 2025

8 rows of Club Europe on that evening's return A320 sector. Jackets were proactively hung in the forward wardrobe, with the crew addressing passengers by surname - always the mark of a good crew, in my experience.

From the trolley, a choice of sticky chilli chicken, Red Leicester panzerotti, or British roast beef salad was offered, with drinks following. The chicken was filling but unremarkable, accompanied by a vegetarian Caesar salad to start, and a raspberry panna cotta to finish.

Drinks top-ups were offered proactively throughout the remainder of the flight, with packaged biscuits offered alongside hot drinks.
