Just to clarify - you made the reservation in your name, put his CC details in for the payment, and were able to get the FHR benefits? My husband and I both have the platinum, but I have a companion card to his (mostly so I can supervise the account, pay for things, and make sure we are getting all the credits, etc. as there's no way he would). I am trying to figure out how to use both of our $300 credits before the end of the year. I am going to be in New Orleans for work next year so was thinking of booking and trying to use his credit and benefits for that, then figure out another trip to book to use mine.
