Never imagined a 12-14 hour flight would be considered a "positioning flight". Why are you flying from USA to Europe via Asia?
well, just ended up that the only way I can try the A350-1000 in F is to fly via HND…
But thanks for your input about the overlapping flights. My gut also tells me it could be problematic, also in terms of the entry eligibility into Japan as I won’t be able to show the JL checkin staff in SFO that I have an onward flight to Europe, so they’ll want to see a return flight out of Japan
