I've been using Lyfts more lately because of the United and Chase Sapphire partnerships, but I've noticed the Lyft cars tend to be older, dingier, and sometimes have trash on the floor.
I think the overall quality of both Ubers and Lyfts have declined over the years. You have to pay up to get premium cars. For solo business travel, I couldn’t care less about the quality - as long as the car runs and the driver is well-rated, it’s fine by me. When I’m traveling with my family to / from the airport, I will go for something bigger and nicer.
