For posterity, here's the menu and some of the options from The Pier from June this year.







I went for the tasting menu, which commenced with Hong Kong ice tea.



The amuse bouche of chilled tofu with roasted green chilli sauce was served alongside the starter of free-range chicken with Sichuan peppercorns and chilli sauce. My colleague opted for the octopus carpaccio and serrano ham with figs from the main menu.



My crispy black cod with golden garlic and chilli was excellent.



For dessert, I went with the bread and butter pudding, whilst my colleague chose the raspberry chocolate tart with sea salt.
