I don't see an existing thread for this, and there are so many options now, both ON property and OFF property, since Terminal 1 is fully open, including parking. Hoping this can be a collection point for data from folks flying out of San Diego.

I know in the past you had to reserve spaces in the Terminal 2 garage in advance and weren't always guaranteed space unless you booked well in advance. And I've read bad things about so many of the nearby Off airport options, although I know better than to trust just the bad reviews.

I'll start. We are flying out of SAN in April, so out of habit I looked to book parking when I booked flights. Per the airport website, daily parking is $38 for both "Plaza 1" and "Plaza 2". We needed just over 6 full days, so I expected a quote of around $200, but the reservation came thru at $133. I didn't see a "book now and save" notice, like you usually see on the LAX parking page, so this was a pleasant surprise. We land pretty late and just walking across to the lot is a huge plus for us in this case.
