Have just been updating my totals on the BAC forum end of year thread.

A reasonable year for me, about average for commercial flights, 23 in total.

Highlights were:

a) being a passenger on board a BA A320 from LHR to MAD, that was being flown by a friend, who was flying his first ever commercial flight with revenue passengers as a newly qualified First Officer;

b) my first Transatlantic flights since 2008, which were also my first flights in First class (reports filed in this forum)

c) LHR-AMS-LHR (BA) with my daughter to attend a convention of Barbie dolls and associated memorabilia near Utrecht (Netherlands)

d) The Experimental Aircraft Association AirVenture at Oshkosh.

New airports (in order of visit)

Chicago O’ Hare ORD/KORD
Witmann Regional Airfield OSH/KOSH
Appleton International ATW/KATW
Stuttgart STR/EDDS
Munich MUC/EDDM

New airlines (in order flown on and all subject of a trip report)

Vueling
Singapore Airlines
ATI Airlines

New types (in order flown on, again, all covered by trip reports)

Ford TriMotor
Bell 47 helicopter
Boeing B29 Superfortress
North American B25 Mitchell

I also flew 24 General Aviation flights, mostly in the Piper PA28 Archer 2 that I have a share in; as well as 14 other flights where I was in the right hand seat, with one of my syndicate partners in the left hand seat of the aircraft, flying as Pilot in Command. For these flights, you could perhaps describe my role as “Pilot Not Flying”, where I am working the radio talking to ATC, navigating, updating paperwork and providing any assistance to the PIC, which allows him to concentrate on flying the aircraft.

Also 6 flights where I was in one of the rear passenger seats just enjoying the view.

Piper PA28 Archer 2 - arriving into Lasham (QLA/EGHL). I am the person in the left of this photo, occupying the right hand seat; my flying buddy is Pilot In Command (PIC) for this flight.

For the rail enthusiasts, I managed to get a ride on one of the few remaining GWR Class 43 Castle HST sets operating down in Cornwall a few months before they were withdrawn.
