Thanks wakesetter93 for getting this up and running, I love looking through this each year! Much lighter travel year for me...long story short, I got caught up in the full-on foreign assistance and travel pause on the fed side, so didn't have much work travel except for emergency response.

Total Countries: 9
Total Airports: 24
Total Airlines: 6
Total Aircraft:19
Total Flights: 37
Total Miles: 72,571

New Countries (2): Sri Lanka, Jamaica
New Airports (6): KIN, PAQ, CMB, TRR, ACJ, JAF, BOD
New Airlines (2): Helvetic, OMNI
New Aircraft (3): CH47, CH53, C130J

In terms of interesting aviation experiences, got a couple of fun ones in. I took a wildfire assignment in Alaska this summer, and rather than being assigned to the Interior (where the bulk of fire activity is) I was sent to the Copper River Valley, east of Anchorage, and got to do some absolutely stellar mountain flying over several weeks.

I also supported two international disaster responses, Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica and Cyclone Ditwah in Sri Lanka. We had extensive U.S. military engagement on both responses, and I got a handful of flights in with our fantastic aircrews helping to distribute relief supplies and moving around our search and rescue teams.

All in all not a bad year, and hoping that my schedule picks back up to normal for next year.
