Why did you select TG over SQ? Presumably schedule? Or price & schedule? Just curious.
Agreed - the 777 would have been fine for a day time flight - just not a red eye.

I chose TG over SQ because at the time of booking it was lie flat and a jet BOM-BKK-LPQ. From memory with SQ or VN they would have taken my to VTE rather than LPQ and SQ would have involved Scoot. So it was better for my schedule.
