However, if her name is the primary contact, Marriott will not accept your Bonvoy number.
So the correct way to do this is to put your name and Bonvoy number in the reservation and pay with her card.
Thanks for the response. I just booked it with my wife's name (primary cardholder) and added my marriott #. The stay did show up on my marriott account and i was able to request NUA. Are you saying Marriott will claw that back eventually? And secondly, if I use my name (not a cardholder) on the FHR booking, Amex won't flag that and not trigger the $300 and the $100?
