Courtyard is strange. You have some that are really at the low end and others, like the ones on Big Island, HI and Bali Seminyak, that are legitimate resorts. I'd get it if the parent only had a limited number of brands but Marriott has over 40, so I'm surprised they haven't reflagged some of these to something else.
Sadly the Courtyard that I stay at is both dirt cheap, close to work and low end ... the staff is great but works within the limitations there.
The Hilton Garden 10' down the road looks pretty enticing for the price as I mentioned. I may have to give it a go, but that extra 20' round trip versus the convenience of my current digs as well as the way the staff treats me will be hard to give up.
