LX176 ZRH-SIN Business

Menu and a few food pics. Quality was okay with a solid main, but a weak choice of breakfast (and as others have pointed out) served as a pre-arrival meal at 5pm (?) SIN Time.

Smoked trout, decent but a tiny portion

Veal fillet was solid taste wise, used the butter to add to the mashed potatoes who could have used some cream/ butter in the first place

Cooked mediumish and the peppercorn sauce was actually quite tasty

The right side dish is supposed to be a Shakshouka, yes, with a hard boiled egg. Not sure what joker thought this is what the dish should look and taste like. <img src=" class="post_inline_image" loading="lazy" />

Crew was fine, but refills were a bit reluctant and had to be prompted. Also, aside from some TK flight years ago, I haven't had a crew that did things in the galley with so much "purpose" meaning no action was done quietly. Compartments and trolley doors and such were slammed shut with vigor even during the sleeping time when they were cleaning up / stowing things.

Sure I was in 5D and closer than others, but man the banging and slamming was quite something.

Also is it normal that no slippers are distributed on LX as I had to put my shoes on to got the toilet? And man I had forgotten that the side console at the seat (shielding from the aisle) is keeping the access from / to the seat quite tight and I'm not large size wise by any means.

Ohh and what is that weird amenity kit that is designed by that eye glasses / frames company? I fondly remember the days when. I got well designed and stylish Qwstion bags.

Else it was decent .
