I WILL fight it all the way up but in the end they will cancel as I wont pay a ridiculous price of 250 000 avios plus 390€ taxes for finnair J 🤣🤣🤣 insanity in my opinion
As a reference, the old oneworld award schedule (that required Finnair+OW flights in one award) would have costed 240 000 points in business for a similar award. In avios I assume that would be 140k avios, and with that reference it is insane. Then again, inflation is the name of their game and with the very limited supply of awards I am sure this isn't the price roof.
The award price on this route being 2x longhaul table is just the new normal, even though HEL based flyers have not noticed it until now. Members from outside zone1 have long time been penalised getting awards charged by segment. Eg this 250k is the ex HEL-price and from Europe it is 290k adios and another 30€ fee as there is a third leg to be charged separately.
