It's not new. I've been getting these for a while, but they only propose it when the load is low and there are gonna be empty seats anyway. So they might as well make some money out of them. It's a great deal and I take it most of the time when it's offered.

My favourite situation was when KL offered me J for 120€ or an empty seat in Y for 30€ on Embraer. Entire half-row to myself or Wanderbox for 4x as much money? Let me think about it 😂
