I think you'll find that's incorrect and that the 777 is pressurised to 8,000 ft. I find the 777 noisy by comparison and would go for the 787 with CS every time. That's if there isn't an A350 option.
Yes, pre-Covid they used to fly 777-300s to Tokyo and by the end of the 12 hour flight I was always desiccated! By comparison the 15 hour flight back in a 787 earlier this year was a breath of fresh air, I came off it feeling pretty much normal. If both planes have Club Suite then I'd pick the 787 over any 777 every time.
