I'm flying from ORD to SHA in C via HKG in a few days time, which should give me 150 + 40 = 190 Status Points.
I currently have 155 SPs and my membership year ends in Feb 2026.
Shall I request removing the FQTV number from my reservation, retroclaim in 2026 before Feb?

If my understanding is right, at least that will make my requal in 2026 easier as the 2027 membership year would be from Jan 1 and therefore that will at least make requal easier in 2027, meaning that I will only need to obtain 110 SPs in 2026?
