I might actually be willing to trade hot food for abundant seating with lots of peace and quiet. The problem is that the current state of Admirals Clubs (perhaps lounges generally to reference a thread over in TravelBuzz) is the worst of both worlds. Awful hot food at the slop trough for the lowest-common-denominator masses and woefully insufficient seating for the quantity of masses (and their dogs) who now have access.
"Boy, the food at this Admirals Club is terrible. And such small portions!"
If you don't like the food, don't eat it. If you think it's a trough, why are you standing in front of it? If you're unhappy with the clientele, how do you feel about being part of it? Why not head somewhere else?
