ORD and IAD may not be for PQF runs. Connections are often cheaper than nonstops.

Newer seat back IFE screens should have basic connection info. I was on a direct turn transcon last year in July (not a PQF run, but a cross country roundtrip jaunt for around $100), and saw only one "connection" on the list, a flight heading back to EWR, where the same aircraft originated from 😀No public announcement was made, and that was a good thing.
