If you want to take CK white glove services for a test run, without chasing it or get the novelty factor out of the way (I'm a sucker to chase that mysterious object too), I would just purchase Five Star Select for one of your DFW/JFK flights $650.00 (make sure your flight departs 2PM or later so you can enjoy Flagship First Dinning at DFW). The Five Star Select service would be the optimal service a CK would get, if all stars align. Usually the stars don't align for us CKs, and we are lucky to have some type of communication (text/call from an agent) for our domestic flights.

I think this will give you a better idea if CK is worth chasing, especially if you are already a lifetime DL360. Delta would make their experience much better when they get rid of their 767s Delta One hardporduct.

CK service does shine at international airports and is a lovely experience and much better than the US service.
