It's just that at a small regional airport rather than a hub, you expect landing -> exit to be a bit more expedient.
I have learnt to accept that a 45 minute tea break for baggage handling staff is inevitable, so not to expect bags any time soon after landing. (Was actually ok in T1, but T3 was worse and now T2 seems to be worse again).
I have now also learnt that just because they attach a jetway to your plane on landing, that doesn't mean you are going to avoid a bussing. It seems that is now 100%. But with bags I have to be sanguine about it because it's not like I was getting out any time soon and I could probably use the steps.
It seems this is just part of the general downgrading of everything air travel related in every sphere.
It's just a shame that Blackpool and Bournmouth are pretty rubbish compared to the other places I want to go, otherwise I would stop using their services immediately.
People "learning to accept" crap levels of service is a large part of the problem. Vote with your wallet and see how quickly things can change.
