Missed out last year but offer has just come through for me. Need 65k points for $750, tempting as I could certainly put the points to good use be it for Ambassador renewal or reward nights.

Saw some anecdotal reports of people who took up the offer very late in the offer period and instead of upgrading to Diamond for 1yr the system actually granted 2yrs. Given I have no stays left for 2025 I'm wondering if it's worth waiting and giving this a go?
