In Peru, the Incan flag is a rainbow flag with an extra color, light blue I believe, but they sure turned our heads when we first saw them. As for the gay rainbow abroad, I don't think many people really catch that unless they are tuned into gay life in one way or another. In fact, I was wearing a rainbow pin once when I got a free upgrade at a hotel from a very friendly male check-in agent. Perhaps the pin helped?
