All correct according to Finnair Plus rules: 4. Collecting Avios, Claiming missing Avios 4.6:
Members can collect Avios and tier points after becoming members. However, Avios for one one-way or round-trip Finnair or partner flight submitted with the membership application can be approved retroactively, provided that the flight was not made more than six months before the application. No tier points are granted from such retroactive transactions.
