Today I tried, but no luck, I could not change my ETC ticket travel dates to after 5/3/2026. I tried changing my travel dates on the UA web interface, found that dates after 5/3/2026 were blocked out. I also tried UA on-line agent and spoke with a live agent, no luck. The only solution offered was to cancel current tickets and get FFC with Fly by date 5/3/2026.

Has anybody found a way to extend the FFC Fly by date? One agent suggested I ask UA customer care to either extend the newly issued FFC Fly by dates or convert the FFC to ETC. Has anybody been successful with filing a request with united.com/customercare to extend FFC fly by dates or convert their FFC to ETC? Just wondering what are the chances of either succeeding?
