The new rail connection that opened yesterday also expands the catchment area of BER Airport.
The long distance train station Berlin Südkreuz can now be reached in 12 minutes, and Berlin Central Station can also be reached more quickly.

Dresden: 1 hour and 31 minutes, direct (already existed)

In about two years, Szczecin will also have a direct rail connection to the airport, with a journey time of approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes.
