When is your card account renewal date? Since you can redeem for one cent per point with Amazon, I would just wait a month or so and wait to see what the new airline/hotel transfer partners for the card will be -- unless you must make a decision about renewing the card sooner than that.
I tried to redeem as cashback to a family member's US bank account and received error. So I figure that is a no-go. My card renews in April. Plan to use the $320 credit early next year, then either PC it or just to close it. Do not really plan to grow the US Bank farm system. Even with the old system, it was not a huge earner to us even we get it in 3 mobile wallets. We still charge dining and grocery to AmEx Gold card.
