He arranged a private car from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, as well as a variety of wonderful excursions in the Siem Reap area. In addition to the temples, a visit to the Tonle Sap floating village, as well as Killing Field from the Khmer Rouge regime, the Apopo center where you can see how rats search for landlines, he also took me to local villages, and showed me authentic experiences such as how rice paper, rice wine, sticky rice, dried banana.... respectively are made. These are all made by hand and in different locations by different families that have been doing this for generations. Each of these is a unique experience, and truly remarkable to see firsthand!

I really got to experience local Cambodian life, meet authentic Cambodian people, understand their history and personal stories, and come away with a unique respect and love for Cambodia! Darith is incredibly personable, and in addition to the historical tidbits he shares, he shares many personal stories of his life growing up in Cambodia, as well as his family.
