So they put a "coming soon" message for in the Rewards Center with no actual information on the partners or transfer rates and the nerf on earning mobile wallet cap, end of 1.5cpp with RTR, all gone. Lol, lmao even. I maintain that I expect the transfer rates to be bad. Points.com is a middleman so there's no guarantee every transfer partner they list on their site is available to USB, or available on as favorable terms as some other banks get (e.g. I wouldn't be surprised if Chase gets more favorable transfer rates to United than USB will, if USB ends up supporting United as a partner).
What a completely underwhelming nerf. USB technically did not say "December 15th will have transfer partners live as the card is nerfed" but the optics are ....... Even if the transfer partners weren't ready to be live today if they had *anything* to share such as "You'll be able to transfer with travel company X at rate Y" that was good news, they would have shared it already.
A separate question is if the travel credit on the travel portal is handled separately from the $325 travel/restaurant credit that was usable before today. My guess is USB will not allow the double dip, but if a datapoint comes on somebody doing both within a cardmember year, might be something to look at before closing the card or PCing.
(Separately I've heard that a lot of people are asking for PCs but not all of them are able to do so...)
