Does anyone have any experience dealing with a rate change during shopping? On Friday night, I placed an order with Lowe’s when it was up to 5 miles/$. However, it looks like it’s only crediting me the standard 0.5 miles/$ rate, possibly because the order shows it was processed on Saturday. I have the order email on Friday, 11:20 pm CT, but the portal shows a transaction date of Saturday. Am I SOL or is it worth a dispute?
I found this little blurb in an email from AAshopping customer service for a missing miles request:
"Also keep in mind that all elevated offers end at 11:59 PM ET on the last day of the offer and that all eligible bonus miles post 8-10 weeks after the last day of the bonus."
You can always try, but it's likely to not be fruitful.
