Three nights, checkout tomorrow, paid, LTP.

Perfect check-in...benefit explanation; asked if I needed late checkout; given a 20% off F&B coupon. Upgraded to 'superior king with sofa bed'.

Room - AC was great (surprised it was working in December); water kettle; fridge with still water and biscuits. Room was large. Bed and bath were fine. Sofa bed was not present.

Breakfast was in M Club and if I wanted to eat in the restaurant, it was a 5# charge. FDA recommended that I stick with the lounge as the selection was roughly the same. Breakfast had real scrambled eggs.

Evening M Club was uneven. Friday evening, around 6 PM, there was really nothing substantial and the alcohol was not out. Saturday and Sunday evening had an OK spread - OK sliders, BBQ ribs, salmon tarts, plus a red, white, and rose wine as well as two draft beers. Note that beer and wine, when out, stay out until 2130.

Property is a 10 minute taxi ride from Waverely. And about a 30 minute ride to EDI, non-peak hours; 30# Uber.

I'll note re: elites - the lounge had no more than 3-4 people at any given time at breakfast and evening snacks, with a lot of food out. I saw the VIP check-in sheet on Monday when I checked-out. Just one data point, but only 4 elites checking in, all Platinum.

Re: tourism everything I did was within a 15 walk of the property.
