Avios availability is a fleeting thing, I'm glad it was still there after this amount of hold time.
At least I can go to bed now...
I've found long wait times (circa 20 minutes or longer) in recent weeks when wanting to speak on existing bookings. I resorted to selecting the new booking option and asking for assistance on an existing booking. Not only does the hold time shorten significantly (I assume due to assuming a potential revenue opportunity), but the competency of the call handler is significantly better.
