Both AS and BLI made a big deal out of gradually increasing the frequency of E175 flights over the past two years after the number of Bellingham flights was greatly reduced following AS' switch from Q400s to E175s in 2023. The slow rebuilding meant a fourth daily flight was reinstituted in January 2025. But in 2022, AS flew six roundtrips daily between BLI and SEA.
I mean, if they aren’t filling the planes, they aren’t going to keep the frequencies. It’s well-known and documented that cross-border traffic is down nationwide thanks to the never ending winning in DC, so Alaska is going to move those planes to more lucrative markets if they see an opportunity to do so.
