Interesting, I have never been bused for a US bound flight and I was under the impression that it would be impossible due to the security checks needed before boarding. Now, I have been bused on an incoming flight from the US when arriving at IST, but that wasn’t too bad since zero security checks and being let in close to the central node of the terminal. And frankly, I have never felt uncomfortable with the demographics of US bound flights, at least in J. Yes, there are a lot of VFR travel, but that could be said of any ME3 and even Asian carriers that connect Asia with the US. But to each their own I guess. (Although I must admit, on a recent EWR flight, I was shocked to find so many Philadelphia Eagles fans on board….now that’s I demographic I want nothing to do with 🙃 )
