Right now I have 10 years diamond and 1,985,000 base points. I have repeatedly asked customers services to confirm my lifetime spend, but the Indian service centre is completely useless. They either don't know the requirement of their own programme, can't tell me the lifetime spend, or just keep repeating the requirements.
Do you think that my lifetime spend should be at least $198,500 as we earned 10 points for every $1 spent? Do you also understand that the spend prior to Jan 1st counts towards qualification, or is it spend $200,000 after Jan 1st !
In my experience, the best way to get accurate stats on your lifetime stats is to write an email to "
[email protected]". I wrote them not long ago about my stats to the requirements before the change. My email basically gave them my Hilton Member Number and said "I would like to know where I stand on the journey towards lifetime Diamond status. Could you let me know how many years of Diamond status I have had (preferably with the years diamond specified in detail), number of lifetime nights, and number of lifetime base points?". I last wrote them on 8/17 of this year and got an answer on 8/22. Of course, I don't know how readily they have access to lifetime $$$'s spent, but it is worth a try. Please report back your results.
