Just wanted ot give huge thanks for the recommendation of Bouyourou - we were there a few weeks back and it was fantastic.

The Echizen crab meal was so special and really really delicious - we have been lucky enough to try a lot of great food in various locations and this was top-tier. It was a lot of crab, but the product itself was stunning and the courses were varied, well executed, and flavorful throughout. Breakfast was also faultless.

The room itself (we had the room with sunken sitting area) was extremely comfortable, with a nice onsen and great views.
