I always find it funny people spend thousands on fancy gear then cover them up. Dang if you are rich enough to spend that you are rich enough to let it wear a little and get that used look, and rich enough to buy a new one if that scratched used look isn't your style LOL.

I have some very high end camera gear, I find it amusing a long time to see people show had GAS and the issue was cosmetic versus get out there and use that gear.

Luggage is designed to be durable, take the dings, scratches and abuse and keep on going? I rather like my BriggsRile and Leather Tumi that have the wear of > 1,000,000 miles and a decade of usage. I was so sad when my twenty year old wallet finally failed... I loved the very worn look.
