Jokes aside, I assume this was a last-minute booking and they only sold full-fare Y? I frequently travel on tickets booked on day of departure and had a good amount of AMS-BUD runs with the occasional €1500 roundtrip in Y on that route. Always chuckle when I compare that to my XP run of BUD-AMS-CDG-HKG return in J last year, which I paid €1750 for lol
No actually, it's for 3 January. Bit of a peak season but stil... Does anyone actually buy this? I could understand if they're trying to spare the seats for people connecting to long haul but surely that would be a crazy price for Y even to Asia or wherever?
(Btw, I've also done that exact same BUD-HKG fare with a double transfer last year. What a gem that ticket was
