Contacted platinumchat, they said my "chances are good" due to being platinum and "since you have been on the waitlist for a long time". However they claim they can no longer manually process upgrades until T-48, and before that the entire process is automated. With an additional limitation mentioned "Most upgrades in general are confirmed 48 hours before departure when the waitlist closes."
