AF posted on 11/14. I used most of my remaining points to book a tour for an upcoming trip, which has already been confirmed with the provider. I made one last expensive meal purchase on Saturday, which formally posted to my account on Tuesday. I finally got the credit for the $200 meal this morning, and I made one final inquiry (via Chat) to see if they would move me to the Connect card, which was refused. Card has now been cancelled. It was my first venture into the world of premium (over $100 AF) credit cards, and probably my last US Bank CC. I will keep my lightly used checking and savings accounts as long as they keep providing a maintenance fee waiver (open since 2003), but they lost me as a CC customer.

I recently received the Atmos Summit card, which appealed to me for the 3x on international purchases, which far exceeds my spending on Google Wallet. I currently have status on all three airline alliances, so the loss of PP is not a big deal. With the free dinner on Saturday, I guess I will consider my USBAR experience to be a wash.
